| Description | : | The building was designed to accomodate either offices or a medical center since the owner was not determined during the design process.
The irregular geometry of the site, the building layout predetermined by the Municipality of Sisli, as well as the special conditions sought in medical centers have been the primary inputs shaping the building.
Heating and cooling systems to be used were taken into consideration while designing the façade. Accordingly, office floors were surrounded by parapets on which radiators and external units of air conditioners can be mounted wherever needed.
A metal cage of 60cm depth was placed in front of the opaque surfaces of the façade, in order to conceal the HVAC devices, as well as mechanical and electrical facilities.
Overheating and glare effects of sunshine were minimized by the use of vertical sunbreakers on the East façade and horizontal ones on the South façade.
An original aesthetic character was achieved by the color composition applied on sunbreakers and the deep cavities surrounding window openings.
